Sirane Safe-HoldTM Absorbent sample pouches are used in the transportation of a variety of sensitive liquid samples, namely biological, diagnostic and clinical specimen samples, infectious and hazardous materials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and environmental samples, These are subject to stringent IATA transport of dangerous goods regulatory controls. These controls dictate the packaging, labelling and shipping requirements to ensure that such materials are transported safely and without danger of leakage, contamination or infection.
Sirane Safe-HoldTM was designed to meet the United Nations recommendation on the transport of dangerous goods - model regulations - for the transport of biological specimen samples. Absorbent packaging is required for all Category A & B class substances that contain liquid.
The Sirane Safe-HoldTM pouches are compliant with UN3373, PI 602 and PI 650 where a sufficient absorbent material must be used to cushion and absorb all fluids in case of breakage.
